Information we process
We may process the following categories of information:
- Contact and inquiry information, such as your name, work email address, company, phone number, and the content of a message you send us.
- Booking information you submit through the Google Calendar link, such as contact details, availability, and meeting details.
- Technical information that is processed when you visit the site, such as Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, and request logs needed to deliver and secure the site.
The website does not offer user accounts or accept payments. It also does not include an on-site contact form.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule requested conversations.
- Evaluate and manage a potential or existing business relationship.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Who receives information
We may share information with service providers that help us host and secure the website, operate email and calendar services, and support our business operations. We may also share information with professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required or appropriate to comply with law, protect rights, or complete a business transaction.
The booking link opens a Google Calendar page. Information you submit there is also handled by Google under its own terms and privacy practices. We do not control those practices.
Analytics and browser preferences
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website performance and usage. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies to collect its metrics and does not track individual visitors across websites.
Google Analytics 4 loads automatically on the production site; we do not show a consent prompt or provide an on-site analytics setting. We use it to measure traffic and selected interactions. It may set and read first-party cookies such as _ga, which distinguishes users, and_ga_<container-id>, which persists session state. Google lists a two-year default expiration for both, subject to browser limits and tag settings. It records page views and selected clicks on booking and contact links. Depending on Google Analytics settings, it can also measure scrolls, downloads, and outbound links. Page locations omit query strings and fragments. The exception is the campaign tags on the links in our emails: theutm_source, utm_medium,utm_campaign, and utm_content parameters, which show which email brought you to the site. Analytics does not load on pages whose URL contains a standard site-search parameter.
Google Analytics also processes browser and device details and approximate location. Google states that it uses IP addresses to derive location, then discards them before storing measurement data. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization. Google handles this information under its own privacy practices.
When your browser still has a denial or pending choice from the former privacy prompt, we keep Google Analytics off. If browser storage is available, we save that setting in local storage. Browsers can evict stored data or clear it with site data. If the old cookie has expired or been cleared before you return, and the saved setting is unavailable, we cannot recover that choice. To prevent Google Analytics from measuring your visits, use theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you choose a light or dark display mode, the site stores that preference in your browser’s local storage. The display preference is not used to identify you or follow your activity across websites.
Tactivus does not use the website to collect information about your activity across third-party websites over time. The site does not use Do Not Track signals to change its information practices.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, manage a business relationship, comply with legal, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, and protect our business. The appropriate period depends on the information and the purpose for which we process it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No website, email service, or transmission method is completely secure.
Your privacy choices
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we hold about you, subject to applicable law and any need to verify your identity and authority. California residents may also contact us with a privacy request under applicable law. We may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies.
Do not include sensitive personal, financial, payroll, or client information in an initial email or booking request. If a prospective engagement requires that information, we will identify an appropriate channel with you.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our website or information practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the version in effect.
